Local Password-Based Authentication

• Introduced secure email/password login backed by the internal database
• Removed dependency on external providers for password-based authentication
• Passwords are securely stored using industry-standard hashing

Account Security Enhancements

• Added failed login attempt tracking
• Temporary account lock after multiple unsuccessful attempts (default: 5 attempts)
• Automatic unlock after a defined duration (15 minutes)
• Failed attempts are reset upon:
  • Successful login
  • Lock expiry

Important Notes

• Password setup is now mandatory for all users
• Existing users must set a password using the Forgot Password flow before logging in.
• Google Sign-In remains unchanged and continues to function as before
